The Catholic association L’Aide à l’Eglise en détresse (helping churches in distress), founded in 1947, manages the Observatoire de la liberté religieuse (observatory of religious freedom), which publishes since 2014 reports on religious freedom.
The observatory offers an on-line database where information is available, for each country, concerning the legal frame of religious freedom and its actual implementation.
